Batukaras Beach is located in Batukaras Village, Cijulang District, Pangandaran Regency, West Java, Indonesia. It is approximately 7.7 km from the famous natural attraction Green Canyon, about a 14-minute drive by car.

 

This beach features a gently sloping shoreline and calm waves, making it perfect for swimming, surfing, and enjoying various water activities such as banana boat rides. Batukaras is also an ideal place to relax while watching the beautiful sunrise and sunset.

 

For adventure seekers, Batukaras offers several exciting spots for camping and hiking, including Karangnunggal — a secluded beach with towering coral cliffs right on the shoreline. From the top of the Batukaras hills, visitors can enjoy scenic views of Pangandaran Beach, Batu Hiu Beach, Bojong Salawe Harbor, and Madasari Beach.

 

Thanks to its location in a small bay, Batukaras enjoys gentle waves, making it a favorite destination for both beginner and experienced surfers. The calm conditions create a safe and friendly environment, especially for those new to surfing.

 

Batukaras Beach is about 33 km from Pangandaran and can be reached in approximately 50 minutes by private vehicle. The beach is equipped with various facilities, including parking areas, prayer rooms, restrooms, local food stalls, seafood restaurants, accommodations, and rental services for surfboards, swimming rings, and banana boats.
